Sample Itinerary

Check out our sample itinerary for a Newfoundland 10 day DiveSafari vacation!

The DiveSafari crew's philosophy on your vacation itinerary is simple. Ultimately, we want you to enjoy your stay! Choose to do one, two or three dives each day - we will accommodate you in every way.

Day 1 Arrive, check in. Join the crew that evening to meet and greet your fellow travellers at a favorite pub!

Day 2 & 3 The crew will pick some awesome shore sites so you can enjoy our homemade lunch and beautiful scenery between dives. Watch for whales, see the magnificent icebergs, all while you bask in the warm sun between dives.

Day 4 & 5 Get ready for some amazing boat diving! Hop aboard the boat in beautiful Conception Bay, just 20 minutes outside of St. John's. We head for Belle Island, to dive the S.S. Saganaga, S.S. Strathcona, S.S. Rose Castle and the PLM 27.

Day 6 & 7 Your personal pleasure is yours for the asking:
  • Take a day off and explore the area
  • Take a group or guided tour!
  • Continue diving - we have yet another awesome dive
  • Join in a night dive followed by a campfire
  • Watch the Whales and Puffins - an absolute must!
.Day 8 We depart St. John's and head out for a two-hour drive through some of most beautiful parts of the Avalon Peninsula. Dive and see whalebones, caribou, and thousands of gannets.

Day 9 The Marine Science Center offers exceptional diving. Hike to the top of the mountain, if you dare! A finish to a perfect day - a down home backyard BBQ with all the people you have met.

The DiveSafari Canada crew will prepare a dinner you will never forget - all part of the special celebration including the Newfoundland tradition which of course, everyone must partake!

Day 10 Farewell day. A time to reflect on your dive vacation, say good-bye to your new dive buddies and take one last look at the amazing Newfoundland landscape.
